Elkhart County trout stocking

Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Fish & Wildlife publishes a schedule rather than confirmed stockings; dates can move with weather and fish supply. We check its feed daily. The year's stocking plan with target numbers and stocking windows (a month or a week), not exact days; the DNR does not confirm each stocking. Indiana stocks lakes from mid-March to mid-April, streams the week before the late-April opener (browns in mid-May, extra fish for the second weekend and Memorial Day), and a fall round in mid-to-late October.
