Linn County trout stocking

Iowa Department of Natural Resources publishes a schedule rather than confirmed stockings; dates can move with weather and fish supply. We check its feed daily. Community pond stockings are announced ahead with a date and time, and postponements are posted; streams are stocked unannounced. Iowa stocks community ponds with rainbow trout in spring (March and April) and fall (late October into November); northeast Iowa streams are stocked weekly from April to October, unannounced.
